Abberton Reservoir BOMA

Description:

Just like the Colchester Highwoods BOMA, if you are a lover of the countryside but cant get out into it as easily as you'd like, whether on account of disability, injury or older age, the Boma 7 is here for your use (enquiries from individuals and groups are all welcome).

New BOMA users should use it within the walking area by the Abberton Reservoir Visitor Centre.

When you are confident you can get out and try the Lord Woodmouse Trail. Maps detailing the route are provided in the Visitor Centre.

In order to use the BOMA you are required to take a fully charged mobile phone with you.

Essex Wildlife Trust require a quick declaration form to be filled in at the centre before use for the first time.

Users need to be over 18 and must be accompanied.

We also say to users not to take the BOMA out in very poor weather conditions so always best to ring beforehand and check.

Donation of £3 is appreciated for upkeep of the BOMA.
