Wiggly Willow Social Club

Wiggly Willow is not just ‘another café’ in Stortford

It’s an exciting and ambitious ‘do something different’ venture. It’s a place to meet, to learn with lessons in Makaton, bring the dog, enjoy convivial conversation and cake – and other lovely food .

In the evenings there are sessions including a social club for people with learning difficulties to have fun with their peers.

Here at the Colne Stroke Group we understand that dealing with a stroke can be hard, not just for the individual but for friends and family too. We are a dedicated team of trained volunteers who will endeavour to support individuals and their families affected by stroke and to help improve the quality of life for people who have speech, language and communication difficulties as a result of a stroke.

Colchester Stroke Club

The Colchester Stroke Club is a friendly support group that welcomes stroke survivors living in and around the Colchester area.

The group provides communication support in one to one, and small group settings, social support, a conversation group and brain exercises for stroke survivors.

A warm welcome too for carers, family members and friends.
