Alice Holt Forest

Description

Discover the natural beauty of Alice Holt Forest, a cherished woodland managed by Forestry England on the Hampshire/Surrey border. This popular destination offers adventure and peaceful escape, now enhanced with two Trampers for hire, making its diverse trails accessible to all.

A range of routes caters to different experiences. Enjoy the gentle Easy Access Trail (1.5 miles) and tranquil Willows Green Trail (0.6 miles) near the Visitor Centre. Engaging Play Trail Tramper Routes (1.5 miles) lead to family areas and Gruffalo sculptures. For a longer journey, the Family Cycle Trail (3 miles) passes scenic Lodge Pond. Advance booking for Trampers is highly recommended.

The site provides a welcoming visitor centre, cafe, extensive play areas, cycle hire, and accessible Changing Places toilets. Admission is free, though car parking charges apply. These invaluable Trampers, supported by DEFRA's 'Access for All' funding, enable greater outdoor exploration for many.
