Discover Cleeve Common, Gloucestershire's highest hill and the largest area of common land in The Cotswolds, offering a spectacular experience. As a Site of Special Scientific Interest and conservation area, it boasts significant historic interest with three Scheduled Monuments.
The 2-mile Tramper route provides ever-changing panoramic views over the Severn Valley, Forest of Dean, Black Mountains, Malvern Hills, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Winchcombe. An option to shorten the route is available, with plans for future extensions. Hiring a Tramper requires pre-booking, especially for first-time Countryside Mobility members, as payments cannot be taken on-site.
The Cleeve Common Trust manages the hire scheme, with the Golf Club acting as the collection point. The Golf Club also features a cafe for refreshments and toilets, though these have two steps. Future redevelopments promise improved accessible facilities.
