Lundy Island

Description

Our most ambitious hire location to date, you can now hire an all-terrain Tramper scooter to explore this unique and beautiful island.

The two Trampers can allow you to access a large proportion of the footpaths and tracks on the island and enjoy the views, natural beauty and tranquility.

While using a Tramper on Lundy is very similar to our other hire locations, reaching and staying on the island is more challenging for anyone with mobility limitations and for some it will not be possible.

Lundy Island offers a unique opportunity to explore its beautiful landscape using an all-terrain Tramper scooter. This ambitious hire location provides two Trampers, granting access to a significant portion of the island's footpaths and tracks. Visitors can fully immerse themselves in the stunning coastal views, natural beauty, and profound tranquility of this remote Bristol Channel gem.

It is crucial to understand that while the Tramper experience is consistent, reaching and staying on Lundy can be challenging for those with mobility limitations. We strongly advise reading the supplementary information guide, detailing access and Tramper use, before booking. Advance booking for the Tramper is essential for all visitors.

Daytrippers must already be existing Countryside Mobility members, as new inductions are not possible upon arrival due to limited staff capacity. Lundy Island, a '400-foot granite outcrop' 12 miles off the Devon Coast, promises spectacular coastal vistas. Its compact size ensures a unique sense of solitude and escape, making it a truly special destination.
