Description
Spider-Y runs wheelchair basketball and other disability sports in Leeds, enabling disabled young people, with their friends and relatives, to enjoy and benefit from involvement in appropriate sports. The organization promotes opportunities for people with disabilities in Yorkshire to participate in sport locally, nationally, and internationally. Their wheelchair basketball team, Leeds Spiders, based at Morley Leisure Centre, has seen great success, with some players representing Team GB in the Paralympics. Spider-Y is registered by the Charity Commission for England and Wales (1125793) and is a company limited by guarantee (6403341).
